Sports Performance Therapy is a specialized form of therapy that directly works with the emotional and mental side of athletics/performance/competition. Your therapist will understand your passion and goals, along with the unique pressures, discipline, setbacks and stressors.  

Sports performance psychotherapy is designed to be highly actionable and directly applicable to training and competition. Sessions are typically weekly or biweekly, short-term, and skills-focused, allowing athletes to notice immediate improvements in performance. Each session provides tools athletes can begin using right away, whether they’re preparing for a game, returning from an injury, or working toward new performance goals.

This specialized therapy helps strengthen the mental skills behind your game by working to improve consistency, sharpen your focus, and build the mental endurance needed to compete at a high level. Success in sports isn’t just about physical ability; your mental game plays an equally powerful role in how well you perform. Strengthening the mental side of performance helps athletes bring out their full potential.

When athletes develop mental skills such as emotional regulation, resilience, concentration, and self-belief, they’re better equipped to perform with confidence and clarity. Building these skills not only improves performance but also promotes long-term well-being, enjoyment of the sport, and a healthier relationship with competition.

Performance Therapy Packages for Teams / Leagues

Your team’s mental health is key! Below are some helpful packages we offer. 

  1.  Sponsor a one-hour mental health assessment with a specialized sports-performance-psychotherapist for each of your athletes ($150/assessment). Your therapist will leave each athlete with a personalized treatment plan, should they wish to engage in follow-up therapy. 
  2. Sponsor your athlete’s therapy throughout the season. Customized plans include: A) Limit of 1-5 sessions per athlete throughout the season; B) Unlimited therapy throughout the season C) Reserve X amount of sessions per week with the therapist – guaranteeing slots that are solely for your athletes.
  3. Group Therapy: We will come to you! Offering 6 / 8 / 10 / or 12 weeks of group therapy that include A) 30 minute presentation on a mental health topic, B) 20 minutes for questions and personalized discussion, and C) 5 minutes of teaching one skill, tool or intervention that your athletes can immediately implement and work on in practice that day or throughout the week.
