Jordan Conklin
Jordan is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFTA) with a passion for supporting clients through life’s challenges. She obtained her M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Appalachian State University. Originally from South Florida, Jordan is grateful to be back to her roots (the beach!) and serving individuals and couples in Wilmington.
Jordan is dedicated to creating an inclusive, culturally competent, and accessible space for individuals and couples from diverse backgrounds. She specializes in helping clients navigate relational conflict, intimacy and sexual concerns, depression, anxiety, boundaries, self worth, trauma, neurodivergence-related challenges, life transitions, and family dynamics.
Jordan strives to create a warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental, space where clients feel safe to explore their feelings, build resilience, and develop a more profound sense of connection with themselves and others. She believes in meeting clients where they are, honoring their unique journeys, and collaborating to foster growth and healing. Jordan is committed to cultivating a space where clients can be their true selves, free of judgement.
With a focus on empathy, humility, and humor, Jordan helps clients develop increased self-worth, clarity, and resilience as they navigate their personal growth and relationships. Jordan practices from a systemic lens, incorporating a variety of therapeutic approaches, including emotionally focused therapy (EFT), solution-focused therapy, attachment theory, feminist theory, and queer theory. Her approach is tailored to each individual or couple, but always grounded in the belief that reconnecting with one’s authentic self, creating new emotional experiences, and improving communication are key to healing and lasting transformation.
Jordan offers in office appointments in Wilmington, and virtual appointments throughout the state of North Carolina. To request a reduced fee spot, please contact Jordan prior to scheduling.
